You must submit the proper paperwork in order to start the adoption process. There are some forms you can obtain from our website to use in addition to your paperwork. Our office is not allowed to guide you in what paperwork is to be submitted. You can either hire an attorney or research the information.

Yes. There is a $215.00 filing fee.

You will be assigned a case number and given a hearing date.

No. all of our adoptions are sealed. You can check with the Georgia Adoption Reunion Registry at www.ga-adoptionreunion.com for further assistance.

All adoptions are finalized and sealed on the day of adoption. You must file a motion with Superior Court and a judge must grant your motion in order for the record to be unsealed. There is also a $215.00 filing fee to file the motion.
